Infrastructure & Server Topology
Anycast Edge Routing
EnvGuard is deployed across the Vercel Edge Network. Incoming requests are routed via Anycast to the nearest global datacenter, ensuring sub-50ms Time To First Byte (TTFB) globally with built-in L3/L4 DDoS mitigation.
Zero-Trust Database
Ciphertexts are committed to a high-availability Supabase PostgreSQL cluster. Direct access is strictly denied via Row Level Security (RLS) policies. Read/Write operations only execute via signed edge functions.
Automated Expiry Sweeps
The database utilizes the pg_cron extension to run asynchronous background workers every 60 seconds. These workers hard-delete any AES-256-GCM payloads that have exceeded their requested Time-To-Live (TTL).
Primary Regions
To balance global latency, primary read/write nodes are distributed in US-East (N. Virginia), EU-Central (Frankfurt), and AP-South (Mumbai). Ciphertext replication occurs synchronously across availability zones.
Past Incidents
Elevated Database Latency (us-east-1)
Supabase reported elevated query execution times in the North Virginia region. The connection pool was scaled automatically to absorb the load. No ciphertexts were compromised.
Vercel Edge Network Upgrade
Scheduled maintenance to upgrade Vercel Edge Runtime to Node.js 20. Routing was temporarily shifted to redundant availability zones. Zero downtime recorded.
